Our team of healthcare providers, architects, engineers, climate and materials scientists has developed a concept that addresses climate change issues by being low-impact and resilient whilst providing a modern standard of care even in regions with difficult climate conditions and a lack of existing infrastructure.
Every aspect of our holistic design considers economic, social, and environmental sustainability; we involve local people in the design development and create an off-grid solution powered by renewable energy, all while reducing operating costs by 50% compared to a traditional hospital. With this approach we directly address 11 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our design team, led by Gunnar Dennewill and James Draheim, has worked on and coor-dinated the realization of hospital projects in 10 countries on 3 continents with a combined value of over 10 Billion USD.
